Quality Control Officer

Job Title: *Quality Control Officer – Flour Mill*

*Job Overview*

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Officer to oversee and maintain product quality standards in our flour mill operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all raw materials and finished products meet food safety, regulatory, and company quality standards.

*Key Responsibilities*

Monitor and inspect raw wheat quality before processing

Conduct regular quality checks during milling processes

Ensure finished flour products meet required standards (texture, color, moisture, etc.)

Perform lab testing (moisture content, ash level, gluten quality, etc.)

Maintain proper documentation and quality records

Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations

Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions

Work closely with production team to improve process efficiency and quality

Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices in the facility

Handle customer complaints related to product quality (if any)

*Required Skills & Qualifications*

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field

2–4 years of experience in flour mill / food industry quality control

Strong knowledge of quality testing procedures

Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.)

Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing methods

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to maintain records and reports efficiently
