Quality Controller

Job Purpose:

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards of products throughout the production process in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Ensures raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods meet specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and sanitation in production areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records as per QC protocols (batch records, COAs, test results, etc.).
• Operate and calibrate QC instruments like pH meter, moisture analyzer, viscometer, etc.
• Implement and ensure adherence to food safety/HACCP/ISO/FSSAI/BIS standards (as applicable).
• Investigate quality complaints and non-conformities; recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Liaise with production and procurement teams to ensure product compliance.
• Assist in internal and external audits (regulatory or third-party).
• Support new product development (NPD) by conducting stability and shelf-life tests.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in QC within the FMCG sector (freshers can be considered).
• Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI/BIS regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with lab equipment and software for data logging and reporting.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Should be comfortable with shift timings
