Business Unit Purpose
To ensure that Emirates Flight Catering consistently delivers world-class products and services through the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO standards and EKFC*s commitment to excellence.
Job Purpose
To assist the Senior Quality Manager in the effective implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of departmental procedures and quality systems across the organization, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and other applicable quality standards.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Coordinate with Department Heads to develop, review, and enhance departmental work procedures across all ISO-certified areas of EKFC.
Conduct internal quality audits to assess compliance and effectiveness of documented procedures, raise non-conformance reports (NCRs), and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
Conduct supplier quality audits, prepare audit reports, and recommend improvements to work procedures and the Quality Manual.
Perform Quality Management System (QMS) performance measurements and prepare process metrics and statistical analyses.
Conduct spot inspections of departments and issue assessment reports with recommendations for improvement.
Assist the Senior Quality Manager and Quality Specialist with special projects, events, and other departmental initiatives as required.
Design, organize, and deliver quality-related training sessions for staff in coordination with the Training Department and Senior Quality team.
Provide guidance to Quality Officers and Quality Controllers by reviewing their reports, monitoring daily performance, and offering ongoing feedback and support.
Ensure all quality documentation, forms, and records are properly maintained, controlled, and standardized across departments.
Apply and uphold EKFC*s Quality Policy and Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards, ensuring departmental responsibilities align with the company*s commitment to quality excellence.

The Quality Coordinator supports the Senior Quality Manager in ensuring that departmental work procedures are aligned with ISO 9001:2000 standards. The role involves standardizing forms, supervising quality documentation, and overseeing the performance of Quality Controllers, Secretaries, and Clerks. The jobholder ensures all quality-related records, manuals, and flowcharts are accurately maintained and controlled to sustain EKFC*s high-quality standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience
Educational Qualification:
A-Level or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
Certification in Quality Management Systems (preferred).
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years* experience in a similar role within an ISO-regulated environment.
Must have completed all necessary operational and advanced-level training relevant to quality assurance.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments and levels of management.
Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in quality auditing, reporting, and statistical analysis.
