We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Quality Engineer
to join our team for road and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving quality assurance procedures in line with project requirements. This role also involves leveraging data and analytics to monitor quality metrics and support process enhancements across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:

Implement and manage
project-specific QA/QC plans
in compliance with
Government Entities
standards and
ISO 9001
.

Conduct site inspections, material testing, and documentation related to
roads, utilities, and infrastructure works
.

Ensure construction activities (e.g.,
MCC, potable water, stormwater, landscaping
) follow approved
method statements, ITPs, and material submittals
.

Perform regular site walks to verify quality compliance and initiate corrective or preventive actions when necessary.

Issue and track
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
and
Site Observation Reports (SORs)
and follow up on timely closure.

Compile and maintain accurate records of
audits
, quality logs, and evidence files, and implement audit recommendations.

Maintain updated documentation, including
MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, material submittals
, and
method statements
.

Prepare and submit
weekly and monthly QA/QC reports
to management and clients.

Monitor project dashboard inputs to ensure current and accurate progress tracking.

Coordinate and follow up on
Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
and approvals.

Conduct
factory and supplier inspections
to ensure product quality prior to site delivery.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
,
Construction Engineering
, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience
in QA/QC roles within road and infrastructure projects.

Solid understanding of
quality control tools
, materials testing procedures, and industry standards.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Experience working with
government or semi-government entities.

Ability to lead or assist in
third-party audits
and
supplier/factory inspections.

Must be
currently based in the UAE
and available for interviews.
