Job Summary**

The Quality Inspector II at CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd will perform intermediate-level quality inspections on manufactured products and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role contributes to maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction. -

Job Responsibilities**

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured aluminum and steel can products, components, and raw materials according to established sampling plans and inspection procedures.
  • Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauges (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges, vision systems) to verify dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and other critical characteristics.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances, defects, and deviations from specifications accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Initiate and participate in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and assist in the development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Perform visual inspections for cosmetic defects, structural integrity, and proper labeling.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, quality logs, and non-conformance reports.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications to ensure proper inspection criteria are applied.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment as required.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in a technical field or relevant certification (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metal packaging or can manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to use various precision measuring tools and instruments accurately.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC) concepts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems is highly desirable.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
