Job description:
- Study tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop cost estimates, rate analysis, and pricing for tenders.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for input and clarifications.
- Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and ensure alignment with tender specifications.
- Assist in vendor quotation analysis and price comparisons.
- Support in preparation of technical and commercial bid submissions.
- Maintain and update cost databases and records for future reference.
- Identify potential risks and suggest value engineering solutions.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–6 years in quantity estimation and tendering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and tendering processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience in construction, MEP, or EPC projects preferred.
