Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation & Budgeting

  • Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural and structural drawings.
  • Conduct detailed Rate Analysis for various construction items (Civil, Finishing, and MEP).
  • Assist in the preparation of initial project budgets and cash flow projections.

2. Billing & Certification

  • Verify and certify RA (Running Account) Bills submitted by contractors and subcontractors against actual site measurements.
  • Process Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) and ensure strict adherence to IS Code 1200 standards.
  • Handle final bill settlements and close-out documentation for completed packages.

3. Material Reconciliation & Cost Control

  • Perform regular Material Reconciliation (Cement, Steel, Aggregates, etc.) to track theoretical vs. actual consumption.
  • Identify variances/wastage and prepare Reconciliation Reports for management review.
  • Monitor project costs against the approved budget and flag potential overruns immediately.

4. Contracts & Tendering

  • Assist the procurement team in floating inquiries, preparing comparative statements, and vendor negotiation.
  • Draft and review Work Orders and Sub-Contractor agreements.
  • Manage variation orders (Change Orders) and claims management.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain a robust MIS (Management Information System) regarding daily progress, billing status, and material inward/outward.
  • Review and approve Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).

Technical Requirements

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory). NICMAR (QS) certification is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is non-negotiable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (for extracting measurements).
  • Experience with ERP software (SAP/Oracle/Highrise) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with MSP (Microsoft Projects) is an advantage.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of IS Codes (specifically IS 1200), CPWD specifications, and local market rates in Bangalore.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
