Job Summary

The Post Contract Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing costs, contracts, and commercial aspects of ongoing projects. The role involves preparing variations, claims, and cost reports while ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards. Knowledge of Hindi language is essential for effective communication with site teams, labor, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and evaluate interim payment applications and certifications.
  • Handle post-contract administration including variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure profitability.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients on contractual issues.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding rates, variations, and claims.
  • Prepare monthly cost/value reconciliation reports.
  • Ensure all contractual documentation is properly maintained.
  • Support management in dispute resolution and contractual correspondence.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of QS experience (preferably UAE/GCC, in contracting or interiors/fit-out).
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract forms.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and QS software.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in Hindi (for site/vendor coordination).
  • English proficiency is also required for reporting/documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
