Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 5–8 years of experience from a reputable cost consultancy background to join our Commercial team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in budgeting, cost planning, estimation, and post-contract cost control for large-scale real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility estimates at concept and design stages.
• Conduct detailed cost benchmarking and value engineering to support commercial decision-making.
• Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure cost efficiency during design development.
• Manage tendering, BOQ preparation, and cost comparison reports for contractor and consultant appointments.
• Review and validate variation claims, progress payments, and final accounts .
• Monitor project costs, identify potential risks or overruns, and propose corrective actions.
• Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts and project cost reports for management review.
• Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain cost control and budget alignment.
• Assist in developing internal cost databases, procurement strategies, and financial reporting tools .

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field .
• 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably with a reputed cost consultancy working on real estate or mixed-use developments.
• Strong experience in budgeting, cost planning, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Excellent understanding of procurement methods, contract administration, and FIDIC .
• Proficiency in MS Excel or similar cost management software .
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• UAE or GCC experience in residential or mixed-use development projects.
