Job Summary

DBL (Private) Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control of our construction projects. The role involves preparing BOQs, analyzing costs, managing contracts, and ensuring value for money while maintaining project quality and timelines.

(Candidate must have hands-on experience in complete housing projects, including grey structure, finishing, and furnishing works, with proven experience in high-rise construction being mandatory.)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
• Evaluate and certify contractor/subcontractor payment applications.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities against drawings and specifications.
• Manage variations, change orders, and cost adjustments.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in risk assessment and value engineering activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, contracts, and BOQ preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX).
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
