Quantity Surveyor

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost planning and financial control for a construction project based in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. The ideal candidate will ensure that the project is completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Monitor project costs and track variations throughout the construction lifecycle
• Manage contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms
• Evaluate contractor bids and prepare tender documents
• Conduct site visits to assess work progress and verify measurements
• Ensure cost control and value engineering to optimize project expenses
• Prepare reports on project financial status and forecasts
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Architecture or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQs, and contract management
• Familiarity with construction laws and regulations in Pakistan
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar tools)
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work on-site and manage multiple aspects of the project

Experience:
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience (preferred for mid to senior-level candidates)
