Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and accurate project reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications
• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Analyze quotations and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow throughout project execution
• Prepare progress valuations, variation orders, and payment certificates
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and final accounts
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients regarding commercial matters
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and measurements
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, variations, and cost records
• Assist in procurement and material cost analysis
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures
• Prepare monthly cost reports and project financial updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum [5] years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices, estimation, and cost control
• Experience in preparing BOQ, tendering, and contract administration
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Qatar or GCC countries
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage
• Valid QID and transferable visa preferred
