Job Description
- Lead, plan, and manage all phases of project execution to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery in accordance with contractual, technical, and safety requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of project engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and workforce to achieve targeted progress and performance.
Develop and implement project execution strategies, construction methodologies, and resource plans in alignment with project schedules and budgets.
- Review and approve IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
Monitor construction progress through regular site inspections, progress meetings, and performance tracking to ensure adherence to the baseline program.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, or cost impacts through proactive planning and coordination with project stakeholders.
- Ensure effective coordination among civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines for seamless project execution.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities, ensuring that all works comply with industry standards and client requirements.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and authorities to address design changes, technical queries, and project approvals.
- Manage procurement schedules, monitor material deliveries, and ensure timely availability of resources at site.
- Support the commercial and planning teams in evaluating variations, claims, and cost-control initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring strict adherence to HSE regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to project teams to enhance productivity, efficiency, and professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience in construction management, with proven expertise in high-rise, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of project execution, cost control, quality management, and construction sequencing.
- Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills with the ability to handle complex project environments.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Sound knowledge of contract administration, FIDIC conditions, and local construction regulations.
- GCC experience and valid driving license are preferred.
