Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor in Sharjah. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and specifications.

Estimate project costs and prepare financial proposals.

Monitor and verify executed quantities on site.

Review contracts and project-related documents.

Prepare monthly cost reports and financial updates.

Evaluate and process variation orders (VOs).

Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure work is within budget.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum [3–5] years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel in particular).

Experience with cost management software (Primavera, Candy, or similar) is an advantage.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Good command of English (written and spoken).
