Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

We are seeking an experienced QS Engineer with strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) background to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration related to MEP works, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, quality, and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting).
• Review and evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications for accurate cost assessments.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Manage procurement activities, including preparing and reviewing subcontractor/supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders related to MEP works.
• Assist in preparation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and subcontracts.
• Coordinate with the project team, consultants, and clients to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and present progress reports, cost reports, and financial statements.
• Support in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with strong exposure to MEP projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QS-related software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Primavera, etc.).
• Strong understanding of contractual terms, FIDIC, and project cost management.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
