Quantity Surveyor Engineer

About Us:

XYZ Interiors LLC is a specialist fit-out contractor delivering high-quality interior solutions . We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in the commercial success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for interior fit-out projects.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs using PlanSwift.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement activities.
• Prepare and review contracts, progress valuations, and cost reports.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Identify and manage variations and claims.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits for progress monitoring and valuation purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management).
• Open to candidates with varying levels of experience in quantity surveying or cost control within the interior fit-out industry.
• Experience with PlanSwift is highly preferred, but candidates willing and able to learn it quickly will also be considered.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required for reviewing and extracting quantities from technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with local UAE construction codes, practices, and market rates is an advantage.
• Must be currently based in the United Arab Emirates.
