Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Building

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for cost estimation, rate analysis, and quantity take-offs for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of construction materials and methods, and the ability to prepare accurate cost reports and BOQs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Conduct rate analysis for civil, finishing, structural, and MEP works.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for various projects.
• Evaluate and verify contractor bills, variations, and claims.
• Prepare and update project cost reports and assist in project budgeting.
• Analyze material and labor requirements to determine cost efficiency.
• Liaise with the project and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in value engineering and cost control measures.
• Maintain records of all project cost data, drawings, and documentation.
• Provide inputs during tender evaluation and negotiation processes.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of rate analysis for civil and finishing works.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in high-rise residential/commercial building projects.
• Exposure to contract management and cost control.
• Knowledge of local market rates and material sourcing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
