Job Description – Quantity Surveyor (Landscape & Swimming Pool Industry)

Position: Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Industry: Landscape & Swimming Pool Construction
Location: Al Quoz Industrial Area 4

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for landscape and swimming pool projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Review and analyze project drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Plan swift, Excel to ensure accurate cost assessments.
• Collaborate with the design team to provide cost planning and budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate contractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and prepare contract documents.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and prepare progress payment applications.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.
• Assist in preparing reports, cost analysis, and project feasibility studies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Proven experience (minimum 3–5 years) as a QS in landscaping and swimming pool projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards related to pools and landscaping.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Plan swift, Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous UAE/GCC experience in landscape and swimming pool industries.
• Familiarity with local suppliers, subcontractors, and market rates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 per month
