Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Responsible for preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BoQs), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for MEP works. Reviews drawings and specifications, evaluates subcontractor quotations, and ensures cost control, compliance with project requirements, and accuracy throughout the tendering and execution stages. Coordinates with design, procurement, and site teams to support budgeting, value engineering, and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review MEP Bills of Quantities (BoQs) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and measurements for MEP works using approved methods/tools.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and pricing for MEP materials, labor, and subcontract packages.
• Evaluate and compare MEP subcontractor and supplier quotations for compliance and value.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders related to MEP works.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure cost control and scope alignment.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, industry standards, and local authority requirements.

• Educational Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying
• Min Required Experience - 8 years (UAE)
• Industries Acceptable From - Cost Consultancy & Contracting
