Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team in Muscat on a full-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost control, budget planning, and financial management across our large-scale projects. Key duties include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing procurement and contracts, monitoring costs, and providing value engineering to ensure financial efficiency throughout project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports aligned with project progress and cash flow.
  • Monitor project expenditures and enforce strict cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Manage contractor and supplier contracts, variations, and payment certificates.
  • Evaluate change orders and assess their impact on project budgets and schedules.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to Project Managers and senior management.
  • Track project completion percentages against approved budgets to prevent cost overruns.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as MRICS (or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • 5–8 years of proven experience in cost management for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong expertise in cost control, cost planning, and cost reporting.
  • Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and managing multi-block residential and commercial projects (highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in cost management and estimation software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and reporting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
