Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) cum Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation within the construction or infrastructure sector. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and supporting tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.

Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating subcontractor quotations.

Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and other tender documents.

Monitor project costs and perform cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective execution.

Analyze rates and pricing based on market trends and material/labor costs.

Support contract administration, including progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

Maintain and update project cost databases and estimation tools.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized university or institution.

2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and/or estimation.

Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, Bluebeam, etc.).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates.

Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract QS work.

Exposure to residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
