Quantity Surveyor(with ERP Knowledge)

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (With ERP Knowledge) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and cost control methods.

Duties

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditure, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
• Conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Assess and manage risks associated with project costs, providing solutions to mitigate potential issues.
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions related to projects.
• Provide advice on contractual matters and assist in dispute resolution as required.

Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
