The R&D Engineer is responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of hardware solutions for new and ongoing projects. This role involves close coordination with vendors, internal teams, and customers to ensure technical excellence, quality compliance, and seamless integration of hardware with software solutions.

• Experience:

4 years of relevant R&D or hardware engineering experience, preferably in telematics, IoT, or electronics manufacturingQualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering or related field.Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement hardware solutions for new projects, ensuring quality, performance, and safety standards.

· Manage procurement, vendor selection, product evaluation, and certification of electronics hardware and accessories.

· Conduct testing and verification of trackers, wiring, tapes, and production accessories.

· Participate in repairs, develop SOPs, and provide technical support for critical solutions and field issues.

· Perform field inspections, deploy new solutions, and troubleshoot technical problems.

· Coordinate with vendors, Sales, Marketing, Software, Installation, KAM, and QA teams to meet project and customer requirements.

· Maintain technical documentation and improve SOPs for engineering, installation, and production.

· Prepare monthly reports, maintain R&D records, and assist in technical hiring and incentive tracking.

Technical Skills:

· PCB design and hardware prototyping

· Electronics testing and troubleshooting

· Knowledge of communication protocols (GSM, GPS, CAN Bus, etc.)

· Familiarity with integration of hardware and software systems
