This Position reports to:

R&D Manager

Your Role: Own the Challenge

• Working as a reliable contributor in R&D projects
• Using technical know-how in your own area of competence to solve problems.
• Supporting the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raising and addressing risks.
• Knowing some of the key drivers for ABB in your own area and performing activities in line with the current direction.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

• Degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
• Established skills in Mechanical Design, using CAD Software: SolidWorks, PTC Creo.
• You are at ease communicating in English orally and written.
• Owns an enhanced knowledge of sheet metal design (sheets & bars) & plastic parts design knowledge, DFM & DFA (punch-press brake-welding- painting – assembly).
