R&D Engineer

The R&D Lighting Engineer, who we are looking for is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing lighting products and solutions. The role focuses on innovation, performance improvement, energy efficiency, and compliance with international standards to support the company’s product development and market competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new lighting products and technologies (LED, smart lighting, controls, optics).
• Design and test lighting systems to meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and prototypes.
• Conduct photometric, thermal, electrical, and reliability testing.
• Analyze test results and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement, marketing).
• Support product certification and documentation processes.
• Participate in cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as R&D Engineer in lighting sector.
• Proven experience in lighting R&D or product development.
• Strong knowledge of LED lighting, drivers, optics, and thermal management.
• Experience with design and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with lighting standards and testing methods.
