JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for new team members! This intern role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about new product development to play a key role in supporting the Regional R&D team through identifying opportunities to better meet consumer needs and drive profitable growth.

We aim to build the future ready, integrated, customer centric, value driven, transparent and real time supply chain ecosystem through disruptive digital & capability transformation.

As being a part of our company, you’ll be working on this agenda together with our leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting technical management and product development of innovation and R&D center projects.
• Maintain effective and timely communication of project status with business partners.
• Generates ideas by investigating new and alternative materials, processes, equipment.
• Assessment of new technologies and technical opportunities with latest developments in the relevant area.
• Plan, coordinate & execute lab, pilot plant works of his/her projects.
• Follow and understand trends on market regarding new product and technologies.
• Responsible for integrity of specifications and formulations in specification management system. Provision of specification for every product in market and ensure that all new, or rejuvenated products have & match agreed specifications.
• Ensures effective interface with Unilever factories in driving implementation of new products and processes.
• In close co-ordination with the processing and supply chain teams, develop manufacturing processes to scale the product manufacture from lab to pilot to main plant.
• Ensure the compliance of the work to the Unilever Code of Business Principles.
  
  

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• University degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Preferably Master’s or pHD degree in a relevant study; Food Technology Food Chemistry, Chemistry.
• Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal).
• Very good knowledge of Experience/know how in Microsoft 365 tools; Teams, Sharepoint, Planner, PowerBI, Flow, Power Apps etc. is an advantage.
• Knowledge of product design processes and principles.
• Working knowledge of Food Legislation.
• Proven practice in Project Management skills.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to effectively co-operate within multi-disciplinary teams on local and global.
• Effectively leveraging the scale of Unilever and the power of Ecosystems.
• Preferably no military obligation for male candidates.
• Available to contribute minimum 3 days a week.
