Job Summary
Join our dynamic legal team as a Paralegal, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our law office. You will engage in a variety of tasks, including coordinating and preparing Residential and Commercial Real Estate closings. There will also be opportunities for case preparation across multiple areas of law, including estate planning, probate law, and housing law. Your expertise will be essential in providing exceptional administrative support and facilitating effective communication within the team.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate with all parties in the Real Estate transaction, drafting documents, and meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage case files through document management systems, ensuring all information is organized and accessible.
  • Review and summarize documents while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Support attorneys in all areas by preparing exhibits, filing documents with courts, and managing deadlines.
  • Collaborate on project management tasks related to various legal matters including real estate conveyancing and landlord-tenant law.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, realtors, loan officers, opposing counsel, and court personnel while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with UCC law, patent law, tribal regulations, securities law, and workers' compensation law is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Real Estate legal software for case management and billing purposes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents; proofreading experience is a plus.
  • Experience in clerical tasks such as phone etiquette, data entry, filing, and document review.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
