Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal for a full-time, permanent position with an established New York City law firm.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who is process-driven, detail-oriented, and excited about contributing to the growth of our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, leases, and title documents.
  • Conduct title and survey reviews; identify and resolve issues affecting title and property ownership.
  • Coordinate due diligence for real estate transactions, including review of contracts, leases, zoning, and environmental reports.
  • Manage all aspects of residential and commercial real estate closings, including communication with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and opposing counsel.
  • Organize and maintain transaction files, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is complete.
  • Assist attorneys with case management, calendaring, and client communications throughout the transaction process.
  • Support firm growth by helping to refine processes, contribute to workflow improvements, and enhance client experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in real estate transactions (residential and commercial experience required).
  • Law firm experience as a real estate paralegal.
  • Familiarity with commercial leasing and financing transactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transaction processes, title work, and closing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with real estate closing software or case management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients, attorneys, and third parties.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently in a proactive and efficient manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
