Real Estate Paralegal

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including due diligence, contract review, title and survey review, closings, and post-closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with plots, commercial and residential real estate transactions from inception to closing.
• Conduct title and survey reviews; prepare title summaries and manage title commitments.
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare closing checklists and track key dates and documents.
• Draft and review real estate documents including agreements, deeds, affidavits, leases, closing statements, etc.
• Organize and manage due diligence.
• Assist in coordinating closings and handle post-closing documentation.
• Maintain document management systems and ensure proper filing of records.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of real estate paralegal experience.
• Familiarity with real estate documents, title and survey review, and closing processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
