Legal Head - Real Estate

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory Services:

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all matters related to real estate transactions, including property acquisition, development, leasing, and sales.

• Offer insights on zoning regulations, land use, environmental laws, and other relevant legal aspects affecting real estate operations.

Contract Drafting and Review:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements such as purchase agreements, leases, joint venture agreements, and construction contracts.

• Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and protect the organization’s interests.

Due Diligence and Compliance:

• Conduct due diligence investigations to assess legal risks associated with real estate transactions.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing real estate activities.

Litigation Support:

• Collaborate with external counsel and provide support in real estate litigation matters, including disputes, claims, and enforcement actions.

• Assist in alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation and arbitration.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, government authorities, and external legal advisors.

• Advise clients on legal strategies and risk management related to real estate investments and projects.

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations.

• Prepare legal opinions, memos, and reports outlining findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 6 to 10 years of experience practicing real estate law with a focus on commercial or residential transactions.

• Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and support in complex real estate matters.

• Strong knowledge of property law, contract law, and regulatory requirements relevant to real estate transactions.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for non-legal stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
