Receptionist

Job Summary

Dhyan Health Care is seeking a courteous, organized, and patient-focused Healthcare Receptionist to manage front desk operations, assist patients and visitors, and support smooth day-to-day hospital functioning.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Handling

  • Greet patients and visitors politely and professionally
  • Register patients and create OPD / IPD records accurately
  • Guide patients regarding departments, doctors, and procedures
  • Handle patient inquiries in person and over phone

Appointment & Billing Support

  • Schedule, confirm, and manage doctor appointments
  • Coordinate with nursing and clinical staff for patient flow
  • Collect consultation fees and issue receipts (as applicable)
  • Support billing and discharge processes

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain patient files, registers, and electronic records
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient information
  • Update daily OPD, appointment, and admission records

Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, lab, and pharmacy staff
  • Inform patients about waiting times and instructions
  • Handle patient concerns politely and escalate when required

Administrative & Office Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area
  • Manage phone calls, messages, and basic office work
  • Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and duty schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
