Receptionist
Job Purpose
The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, maintaining administrative and coordination records, and supporting basic store and documentation activities to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Communication
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls appropriately.
- Maintain visitor log register and incoming/outgoing call log list.
- Ensure the reception area is neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
Administrative & Coordination Support
- Receive documents, couriers, and official correspondence.
- Hand over documents to the respective departments and maintain proper records and registers.
- Track document movement and ensure acknowledgement where required.
- Maintain staff in/out attendance register as assigned.
Store & Documentation Support
- Check and verify delivery notes against received materials.
- Update and maintain the Store Master List accurately.
- Record and update material issue registers.
- Coordinate with storekeeper / site team regarding discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
- File and maintain delivery notes, material issue slips, and related records systematically.
Reporting & HR Coordination
- Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly reports as required.
- Share relevant administrative, attendance, and store-related reports with HR.
- Support HR with basic documentation tracking when required.
Ad-hoc Duties
- Perform any other administrative or operational tasks as instructed by management from time to time.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelors degree
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of store documentation and inventory records preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Pleasing personality and presentable
- Professional attitude and presentable appearance.
Salary - AED2500 to AED2800
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
