Receptionist

Job Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff. This role is responsible for providing a professional and welcoming front-desk experience, managing incoming communications, and supporting basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Customer Service

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges as required
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls efficiently
  • Respond to general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments

Administrative Support

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Maintain front desk records, logs, and appointment schedules
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
  • Support administrative and office staff with ad-hoc tasks as needed

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth visitor flow
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and notify participants of arrivals
  • Maintain communication with security and facilities teams when required

Office Management

  • Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and presentable
  • Monitor and request office supplies related to front desk operations
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, office systems)
  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Female candidates are preferred
  • Arabic speakers are preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
