Salary: PKR 45,000 – 50,000 per month

Job Overview

SSGC is seeking a professional, courteous, and organized Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for our office. The ideal candidate will handle front desk operations, manage calls and guests, and support general administrative tasks. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients in a friendly, professional manner; guide them appropriately.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls; take and relay messages as needed.
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, tidy and welcoming.
  • Manage correspondence (incoming/outgoing mail, couriers) and distribute to relevant departments.
  • Schedule and manage meetings, appointments, rooms as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory; reorder supplies as required.
  • Perform basic clerical functions: filing, photocopying, scanning, data entry.
  • Assist with maintaining visitor logs / badges or security protocols as per office policy.
  • Support internal departments with ad hoc tasks (e.g. preparing documents, typing, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum education: Intermediate (F.A / F.Sc) or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience (1-2 years) in a reception, front office or administrative role will be an advantage.
  • Good spoken and written communication in English and Urdu.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Neat appearance, professional demeanor.
  • Able to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to changing workloads.

Additional / Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in handling switchboards or multi-line telephone systems.
  • Experience in a utility company or large corporate environment.
  • Basic knowledge of office safety / security procedures.

Working Hours

  • Specify working hours, e.g. Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
