Receptionist / Office Assistant (Front Desk)

The Receptionist / Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This role is responsible for managing the front desk, handling phone calls, greeting guests, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff in a professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage the front desk area and maintain a clean, organized reception space.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes when required.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Support HR or administrative staff with routine office tasks.
  • Respond to general inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or office assistant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and customer service attitude.
