Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Help to join our team in providing exceptional service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to ensuring a positive guest experience. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in representing our optical store and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

-Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

-Answering phone lines and checking voicemails.

-Scheduling and rescheduling current and new patient appointments.

-Collecting payments/managing charges for checkout.

-Filing, faxing, and other miscellaneous front desk tasks.

-Authorizing and verifying insurance benefits for patients.

-All aspects of patients checking in and out.

-Manage office supplies and maintain a tidy reception area

-Preparing patients for the pre-testing room for the doctor.

-Help patients find a suitable frame

-Collaborate effectively with other staff members to provide a positive patient experience

-Bilingual (SPANISH) (A MUST)

Qualifications

-Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.

-Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.

-Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse patients.

-Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices is beneficial.

-Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing appointments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
