Recovery Specialist

We’re looking for a Recovery Specialist who’s ready to make a real impact while living our core values of Trust, Respect, and Integrity.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and manage charged off and negative accounts
  • Work with members, attorneys, and agencies to find solutions
  • Set up and monitor payment plans or settlements
  • Prepare accounts for legal action or outside recovery
  • Locate members using skip tracing tools
  • Send recovery and adverse action letters
  • Keep accurate logs, files, and reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Assist with department calls, emails, and projects

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • No major required
  • High school diploma
  • 2 - 4 Years work experience in Collections and Recovery
  • Experience in repossessions, bankruptcy law, and federal and state regulations
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to set deadlines
  • Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Excel and Word
