Internship Overview

The Recruiting Intern will gain hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of human resources within a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment. You will bridge the gap between corporate strategy and site-level execution, ensuring our washes are fully staffed with top-tier talent and our administrative systems run with precision.

Key Learning Objectives & Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Branding

• Full-Cycle Support:
  • Review resumes to match qualified candidates with open job requirements
  • Learn to manage candidate sourcing, screening and making contact for open positions
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews both virtually and in person
  • Document recruiting activities in Talent Management System
  • Assist in onboarding new hires
  • Maintain professionalism and ensure positive candidate experience
• Community Engagement: Represent Flagstop at local career fairs and community events to build brand awareness and a talent pipeline

HR Systems

• System Administration: Learn the backend of HRIS system including Talent Acquisition process, creating reports, and automating tasks for efficiency

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills (essential for guest experience and interviewing).
• Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly learn software platforms quickly including Google Workspace
• Organization: High attention to detail and capable of managing multiples tasks
