Skills Required:
● Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written)
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology / Sales & Marketing preferred (not essential)
● Fresh graduates from reputable universities welcome (O/A Levels background preferred)
● Ideally 2 years’ experience in international recruiting OR a proven track record in sales/marketing with international clients
● Strong telephone manner with a professional demeanor
● History of achieving or exceeding sales targets and earning commissions
● Resilience, drive, and enthusiasm to run a successful recruitment desk
● Ability to work independently with initiative
● Strong time management skills and flexibility to work long hours if required
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Additional Expectations
● Recruitment experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in international markets (UK, USA, Australia, or other English-speaking countries) are encouraged to apply
● Bright, confident personality with excellent interpersonal skills, ambition, and determination to succeed
● Assertive, persuasive communicator with strong negotiation skills
● Ability to multi-task, manage projects, and meet sales targets simultaneously
Role of a Recruiter:
● Using sales, business development, marketing techniques, and networking to attract new business
● Understanding client requirements and delivering tailored solutions
● Building strong relationships with clients and candidates for repeat business
● Headhunting and approaching suitable candidates, including those already employed
● Using databases to match candidates with vacancies
● Reviewing applications, managing interviews, and shortlisting candidates
● Negotiating offers and finalizing arrangements between clients and candidates
● Using social media and other platforms to advertise vacancies
● Preparing CVs and correspondence for suitable applicants
