Upwork/Freelancer Bidder and Sales Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Upwork Bidder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suitable projects, crafting compelling proposals, and securing new business opportunities on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand client requirements and align them with our services.

Responsibilities

  • Search, identify, and qualify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
  • Write customized, persuasive proposals that clearly communicate our expertise.
  • Maintain a high response rate and follow up with clients to build strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with the technical/creative team to understand service offerings and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Track bids, monitor success rates, and optimize bidding strategies for better conversions.
  • Maintain CRM or bid tracking sheet to ensure timely follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Business Development Executive, or similar role.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to write clear, engaging, and client-focused proposals.
  • Understanding of IT/ Development services Strong research skills to identify high-quality projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with project negotiation and client communication.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior track record of winning projects on Upwork.
  • Knowledge of SEO-friendly writing for proposals.
  • Familiarity with Trello, Slack, or other project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
