Recruitment Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Officer with proven experience in blue-collar hiring, specifically truck drivers, for a reputable transportation company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end recruitment activities and ensure compliance with UAE labor and transport regulations. Candidates with experience in a transport company will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment of heavy & light truck drivers and other fleet staff
• Source candidates through agencies, referrals, job portals, and walk-ins
• Conduct initial screening and coordinate interviews with operations teams
• Verify driver documentation (licenses, permits, experience letters)
• Coordinate medical tests, background checks, and onboarding formalities
• Maintain recruitment records and driver manpower reports
• Liaise with PRO/Admin for visa, licensing, and compliance requirements
• Support HR operations related to blue-collar workforce management

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in truck driver recruitment
• Prior experience in a transportation or logistics company (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of UAE labor laws related to drivers
• Ability to manage bulk hiring and meet urgent manpower demands
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Familiarity with driver categories (HTV/LTV) is a plus
