Job Title: Recruitment & Onboarding Officer

Location: Muscat, Oman
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: HR Manager
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

The Recruitment & Onboarding Officer will support the organization’s hiring needs by managing recruitment and onboarding activities in a timely, professional, and organized manner. The role focuses on attracting suitable candidates, coordinating interviews, facilitating smooth onboarding, and supporting probation follow-up to ensure successful employee integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment activities based on approved manpower requirements
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial interviews to assess suitability and interest
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Assist in candidate selection and preparation of hiring recommendations
  • Prepare offer letters and support employment documentation
  • Coordinate pre-joining and joining formalities
  • Conduct onboarding and induction activities for new employees
  • Monitor probation periods and follow up with departments
  • Maintain recruitment records, trackers, and employee files
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable labor laws

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment or HR (fresh graduates may apply)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic HR systems
