About the Role

Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Recruitment & Training Development Manager. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong HR generalist expertise, a passion for innovative recruiting, and the ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and committed to fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring full compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with department leaders to drive full-cycle recruiting and attract top talent
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, including outreach to colleges, job boards, and community organizations
  • Manage job postings and coordinate job fairs and hiring events
  • Ensure proper verification and maintenance of employment eligibility documentation

Training & Development

  • Lead new hire orientation and all required compliance training programs
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure effective onboarding and on-the-job training
  • Monitor the new hire experience and conduct 90-day “stay interviews”
  • Support performance evaluation processes, annual reviews, and merit increases
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Represent HR in safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance
  • Assist with workers’ compensation and liability claims as needed
  • Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws, including FLSA

Leadership & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and associates
  • Support managers in building strong, collaborative teams
  • Champion a positive, engaging workplace culture
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a service-driven mindset

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Strong knowledge of HR generalist functions (recruiting, employee relations, compliance)
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospitality industry experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
