Overview
Eagle Redi-Mix is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage the scheduling and coordination of concrete deliveries. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and have a knack for problem-solving to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule concrete deliveries to job sites, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of trucks.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and project managers to confirm orders, delivery times, and special requirements.
• Monitor and adjust schedules based on customer needs, traffic, weather, or other variables.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and driver logs.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, order changes, or customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with plant managers and drivers to optimize routes and ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or related fields a plus.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or customer service, preferably in the concrete or construction industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of concrete industry operations and terminology is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, reach, push, pull, overhead, and stay alert.
• Ability to communicate verbally to drivers, plant operations and other personnel using radio communications.
