Regional Commercial Director

About the Role

Future Pipe Industries is seeking an experienced Regional Commercial Director to lead and coordinate sales and commercial activities across the Middle East and North Africa region. In this role, you will translate the global commercial strategy into regional execution plans, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability. You will serve as the key link between global commercial leadership and regional sales teams, overseeing pipeline management, strategic account development, and the successful execution of key commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Commercial Strategy Execution: Translate the global commercial strategy into regional sales plans aligned with FPI's business goals, and coordinate commercial initiatives across MENA markets to ensure consistent execution.
  • Regional Sales Performance Management: Oversee and monitor the performance of General Manager Sales roles across MENA, reviewing pipeline development, sales forecasts, and key project opportunities to ensure targets are met.
  • Strategic Accounts & Major Projects: Support negotiation and closure of major regional contracts and strategic projects, while maintaining strong relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and partners.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and sectors within the MENA region, and support market entry strategies and expansion initiatives in emerging markets.
  • Commercial Governance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to company policies on pricing strategy, contract governance, and commercial risk management. Monitor margin performance and enforce commercial discipline across regional operations.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to General Manager Sales and regional sales teams. Support talent development, succession planning, and capability building across the regional sales organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant commercial discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in sales or commercial roles within an industrial or infrastructure environment
  • Minimum 8-10 years of leadership experience in sales or commercial management
  • Experience managing commercial operations across multiple MENA markets
  • Strong background in industrial projects, EPC contractors, or infrastructure sectors
