Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance for regional engineering operations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with JLL s global standards and client expectations.
  • Oversee the execution of service delivery and operational excellence across a broad portfolio of properties, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved or exceeded.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop country engineering leads, cultivating high-performance teams and driving ongoing talent development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, acting as the principal engineering advisor; proactively identify opportunities for value creation, cost optimization, and innovation.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders including regional and global management, property managers, vendors, and contractors to drive seamless operations, integration of new technologies, and project delivery.
  • Support regional engineering budgets, exercise financial stewardship, and champion data-driven decision-making to meet and exceed financial objectives.
  • Lead a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management by establishing and enforcing engineering standards and collaborating with client and internal teams to investigate, resolve, and prevent incidents.
  • Track industry trends and regulatory requirements; contribute to JLL s leadership positioning via active participation in thought leadership, market forums, and innovation initiatives.
  • Synthesize and communicate regular performance insights, strategic recommendations, and improvement action plans to senior management.
  • Collaborate with sustainability leaders to drive the implementation of best practices, new technologies, and innovation to support environmental and operational goals region wide.
  • Lead sourcing activities and negotiations for large-scale regional contracts relating to engineering products and services.
  • Support business development initiatives and client pursuits, leveraging technical expertise and market intelligence.
  • Oversee operational delivery at market level as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in senior engineering leadership, preferably at the regional or multi-country level within real estate or facility management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale teams and budgets across multiple geographies.
  • Deep expertise in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety) and regulatory frameworks within MENAT.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning, change leadership, and continuous improvement delivery.
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in engineering management software platforms and digital facility management systems.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Engineer (CEng), PMP, or equivalent regional certifications highly desirable.
