Regional Growth Director – Strategic & Enterprise Markets

Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Chief Sales Officer (CSO)**
Direct Reports: Senior Business Growth Managers, Enterprise Growth Consultants (assigned only after meeting performance benchmarks)

Role Summary

The Regional Growth Director is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for delivering strong, consistent profit-driven results from the first month of joining. You will independently generate enterprise opportunities, close high-value deals, and establish a multi-crore pipeline across priority industries.

For the first three months, this position functions as an individual contributor.
You must consistently achieve monthly individual profit targets equivalent to your monthly salary.
Only after meeting this benchmark for three consecutive months will a team of Senior Business Growth Managers be allocated under your leadership.

The position requires an elite revenue professional capable of influencing CXOs, managing complex enterprise engagements, and operating with the commercial discipline found in Big 4 and MBB firms.

Compensation Package

Fixed Annual Compensation:
INR 48,00,000 – 90,00,000
(4L – 7.5L per month fixed salary)

Exceptional candidates with global enterprise and consulting backgrounds may receive a customized package beyond this range.

Performance-Linked Commission Structure (Profit-Based)

Commission Eligibility:
Commission applies only when the individual monthly profit target is achieved.

Base Commission:

  • 7% of profit generated individually until total monthly profit equals 10x the monthly salary.

Accelerator Commission:

  • 15% of profit generated beyond the 10x profit target.

Leadership Override (After Team Allocation):

  • 2% of total profit generated by the assigned team.

Annual Leadership Bonus:

  • Up to six months of additional salary for exceptional performance.

Total Expected Earnings:
High performers typically earn INR 1.2 Cr – 2 Cr+ per annum.

This structure positions the role competitively against global consulting and enterprise technology organizations.

Key ResponsibilitiesIndividual Contributor Phase (First 3 Months)

  • Achieve individual monthly profit targets equivalent to your monthly salary.
  • Build a multi-crore pipeline within the first quarter.
  • Independently manage prospecting, discovery, proposals, negotiations, and closures.
  • Engage effectively with CEOs, Founders, CXOs, and senior decision-makers across industries.
  • Deliver consistent, measurable commercial performance.

Leadership Phase (Post Qualification)

  • Lead and develop a high-performance team of Senior Business Growth Managers.
  • Implement strong commercial governance, forecasting cadence, and performance discipline.
  • Lead enterprise and strategic sales engagements across key verticals.
  • Drive aggressive expansion in high-value markets and industries.
  • Build regional growth strategies and quarterly commercial operating plans.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Represent IPDM in enterprise presentations, consulting discussions, and senior leadership forums.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and build new revenue channels.
  • Maintain accurate, disciplined forecasting and pipeline governance.
  • Ensure profitability, margin discipline, and strong customer relationships.

Performance Expectations

First 30–60 Days:

  • Achieve monthly individual profit targets.
  • Develop a strong enterprise pipeline across priority industries.
  • Close high-ticket engagements.

First 90 Days:

  • Achieve monthly profit targets consistently for all three months.
  • Qualify for a team leadership role.

Quarterly Expectations:

  • Deliver predictable, sustained profit outcomes.
  • Maintain a multi-crore pipeline with strong conversion ratios.
  • Lead your region with structure, discipline, and strategic clarity.

Education Requirements

Preferred:

  • MBA/PGDM from institutions such as IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, NMIMS, TAPMI or international equivalents.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated excellence in enterprise sales.

Experience Requirements

  • 8 to 18 years of enterprise B2B sales experience in consulting, SaaS, digital transformation, AI, automation, IT services, or enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to close complex, high-ticket engagements.
  • Strong experience engaging CXOs and senior executives.
  • Experience in Big 4, MBB feeder roles, SaaS unicorns, or enterprise consulting organizations is preferred.
  • Leadership experience is valued but not required initially, as leadership responsibilities begin only after performance benchmarks are met.

  • Aspires to grow into roles like Vice President – Growth, Chief Revenue Officer, or CSO.
