Registered Dental Assistant

Dougherty Dental Group is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing, patient-focused practice in College Station. Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant at Dougherty Dental Group, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during restorative, surgical, endodontic, and cosmetic procedures
• Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos
• Support patient education and help reinforce treatment recommendations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Technology & Skills

• Experience with digital scanning (intraoral scanners) preferred
• Experience with 3D printing preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow with emerging dental technologies is essential
• Familiarity with practice management software is a plus
