Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support vaccine administration efforts. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and accurate vaccine delivery, educate patients, and monitor for any immediate post-vaccination reactions. This role is critical to supporting public health initiatives and requires strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Verify patient identity and review medical history, allergies, and contraindications prior to vaccination.

Educate patients and/or caregivers on the vaccine being administered, including potential benefits, risks, and side effects.

Prepare vaccines in accordance with manufacturer and facility guidelines (e.g., dosing, storage, handling, and reconstitution if needed).

Administer vaccines via the appropriate route (intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, or oral).

Monitor patients for immediate adverse reactions following vaccination.

Respond to medical emergencies such as anaphylaxis according to established protocols.

Maintain accurate documentation of vaccine administration and patient interactions.
Required Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license

Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
