Job Summary

The Registered Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients by assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in accordance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and ethical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and clinical progress, and report any changes promptly to the medical team
• Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy safely and accurately
• Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergencies
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records and nursing documentation
• Ensure infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide basic and advanced life support when required
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to hospital policies, nursing ethics, and professional standards at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing
• Valid registration with Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC)
• Freshers or experienced candidates may apply (experience preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
